in Pacific Grove at the Municipal Golf Links features 18 holes
with a slope of 117 and course record of 64. The backdrop for
this course is the stunning Monterey Bay Coastline.

in and near Pacific Grove represent diverse outdoor activity along
the rocky coastline shore. Asilomar State Beach located on Sunset
Drive; features tide pools, great places for picnics, kite flying,
fabulous sunsets, long walks and viewing the diverse ecosystem.
Lovers
Point Beach located on Ocean View Boulevard along
the Recreation Trail and 2 blocks into town, is home to divers,
kayaking, family beach days, volleyball or snacking outside.
Monterey
Bay Aquarium. Located on historic Cannery Row and
just 1.8 miles away. View marvels of the ocean planet at the heart
of the nation's largest marine sanctuary. More than 100 galleries
featuring jelly fish, playful sea otters, quirky penguins, powerful
sharks, elusive octopus and giant ocean sunfish. Children love
the hands-on exhibits in their very own Splash Zone. We can
provide tickets that are valid for two consecutive days for the
price of a one day visit. Cash purchase only please, as

The
Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary is just a block away
and is open during the wintering season from October through early-March.
Clusters of monarch butterflies can be viewed gathered on trees
in thick bunches. The Sanctuary is located at Lighthouse Avenue
& Ridge Road.
Whale
Watching Companies feature individual or private
group charters and also feature skipper narrated whale sightings
in addition to fishing the Monterey Bay. Whale Watching occurs
year around can be found on Fisherman's Wharf.
Point
Piņos Lighthouse
is
located on the northernmost tip of the Monterey Peninsula. It's
beacon has shone since February 1, 1855. The building, lenses
and prisms of the light are all original. Point Piņos
Lighthouse is the oldest, continuously operating lighthouse on
the West Coast and is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places. Point Piņos
Lighthouse is open to the public, Thursday through Monday from
1:00-4:00 p.m.
